About the Musicians
Joyce Lyons | Vocalist
Making her home right here in Buffalo, Joyce Lyons has been bringing her swinging, sassy and straight to the heart performances to audiences all over the country for many years. Once hailed, as “What Cabaret is All About, “ Joyce spent over 30 years in New York City performing in cabaret, clubs, musical theater and even tested the late- night waters of standup comedy.
Phil Aaron | Piano
Phil Aaron is an emmy-winning composer and musician based in Minneapolis, MN. He has spent the last 20+ years composing for film, television and advertising. While his days are devoted to composing, you can find him on many nights and weekends playing jazz pianoat the best jazz clubs in the Twin Cities.
Dan Carpel | Bass
Dan attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston where he was a member of the Berklee Monterey Quartet and a regular performer at Wally’s Café before relocating to the Twin Cities. Here, he has performed with Jake Baldwin, Javi Santiago, Pete James Johnson, and others.
